We arrived in D.C. Thursday night Sept. 17.. With not much time left on the sun clock, we decided to bend the elbow at Irish Whiskey Public House.

I was craving a sour beer so I threw back Rodenbach's Grand Cru from Belgium. Beer Advocate rates the beer at 95%, and I agree. As a Flanders Red Ale with 6.00% ABV, its very funky - ya dig? I can dig it, and I was able to keep the glass too. Werd to yo motha.

Speaking of parents and family, no trip to the East Coast is complete without an American pint of Yuengling Lager, which is America's oldest brewery. D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. is a family operation, so it was proper to take a picture of my pops with the draft handle.

Next on tap was Heavy Seas Loose Cannon crafted in Maryland. Beer Advocate rates the brew at 90%, which is Outstanding. It is a bitter and hop forward American style IPA with a gravity of 7.25% ABV. Now, Cann you dig that!?

Another great beverage enjoyed was Sweet Baby Jesus! by DuClaw Brewing Company. Jesus is not black, but this American Porter speaks truth. This 6.50% ABV chocolate peanut butter porter is lovely as Sweet Baby Jesus!
